At the beginning of this year we met Chef Fabrizio Ferrari in his restaurant “Al Porticciolo 84” in Lecco (1 Michelin star).
He fell in love with Korean food many years ago, thanks to his Korean sous chef. His first appearance on Korean TV has been in 2018 when he competed in the Olive TV show Hansik Daejeop (한식대첩) where teams made up a Korean Master chef and a foreign chef would compete against each other. He is currently working as professor at the Culinary Institute of Sejong university in Korea.
We sat down with him to know how he got interested in hansik and what he likes the most about Korean food and his life in Korea.
